A worker of the catering trade who has been employed by the Weimar “Dal Pescatore” restaurant as a full-time waiter demands the payment of his unpaid salary.
What’s the trouble?
Despite of several requests the worker has made to “Dal Pescatore” the salary wasn’t received. After 40 days of unpaid work and in response to this unlawful treatment, the worker was forced to leave his place of work claiming his right of retention (BGB § 273).
